From the Blurb:
Mitchi thought spotting a wyvern in the forest would be the most pulse-pounding moment of her life. Until, that same wyvern attacked her tiny village. Left orphaned in the wake of the violence, Mitchi sets out to avenge her mother and the other townsfolk who paid the ultimate price.
Unfortunately, this particular wyvern is unique. It has taken a liking to Mitchi, and will stop at nothing to get to her. Forced into a fight for her life, she uncovers a magic power she didn’t know she had. Harnessing this newfound ability may be her only hope if she seeks to maintain her freedom.
Ryland is a prince with a bad reputation and a dark secret all his own. He alone knows why the wyrvern sightings in the surrounding villages have increased. When Ryland stumbles across Mitchi, he sees her as the antidote to his plethora of problems. Unfortunately, the pair got off to an unforgivably volatile start…
The Light Bringer is the enticing first book in a brand new series penned by the author of the fan-favorite Midnight Ball Series and beloved Nephilim Universe.
